How to Get Horizon Zero Dawn and Other Great PlayStation Games for Free
If you’re on PlayStation, set your calendar reminder for March 25 at 8:00 PM (PT) and April 19 at 8:00 PM (PT) because there are great free games ahead of you. March 25 marks the official launch of Sony’s new Play at Home 2021 program, which gives you access to free PlayStation 4 and PS VR games with no strings attached. You do not need to be a PlayStation Plus member to take advantage of the giveaway; you just need to “buy” the free games. That’s all.
My advice? Take them all, even if you are not sure how interesting they are to you. You never know when you’ll want to try out a random game that you’ve never played before. And I can safely say that quite a few of the games on this list are really good; they are not just headlines for bargain purchases. You have until April 22, 8:00 pm PT to pick them up. After that, you will again have to pay for them with real money.

As of April 19, you’ll only get one free game that day, but it’s a wacky one: everyone’s favorite Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition . Trick? You have a limited time to pick it up – from April 19 to May 14 at 8:00 PM PT. It’s not a bad window, but don’t waste your time – this game is incredible. So much so that I would happily play it again right now if I didn’t already have quite a few games to check out.
