DIY Vinegar and Orange Peel Cleaning Spray

When it comes to home cleaning, vinegar is the best assistant for DIYers, but the smell can be pungent. Of course, part of the benefit of using vinegar as a cleaning solution is that it’s also a great deodorant – your room will smell a lot of vinegar for a while, but wait a few hours and, like magic, the vinegar smell will disappear. along with all the unpleasant odors that came before him.

If you want to reduce the harshness of the vinegar smell – whether it’s from being gagged, or you just want to smell better while cleaning – adding citrus is a refreshing way to cleanse your home and make it smell good, and for a fraction of the the cost of most cleaning products from the store. The best part is that it doesn’t take much effort on your part.

All you need to make your own cleaner is a few leftover citrus orange peels (or clementines), distilled white vinegar, and some water. Simply fill an airtight container with the peel, cover it with white vinegar, and wait two weeks. After that, you can strain the peel, dilute the mixture with water and pour into a spray bottle. Use it as an all-round cleaner for grease, grime, grime – pretty much anything in your kitchen or bathroom, except fancy surfaces like marble or granite. Here’s a list of things you shouldn’t use vinegar for , but otherwise, be careful. It requires virtually no work and is much cheaper than buying a vacuum cleaner from a store.
