What’s New at Disney + February 2021
In the days of television on DVD, no TV series was better received than The Muppets – until that happened. Disney made deluxe full-season sets for the series, including nifty bonus features, and even packed them in a bunch of “fluffy” boxes designed to simulate flexibility … a Muppet coat? Leather? For at least three out of five seasons. Unfortunately, sales were clearly not high enough to warrant the effort , or Disney was distracted by more shiny things like lightsabers and Iron Man; despite this – and despite a petition on Change.org – the fourth and fifth seasons of The Muppets were never released on DVD. Fortunately, while it will never appease the hurt feelings of physical media supporters, Disney justifies Kermit fans by releasing all five seasons on Disney + next month , so you can enjoy every awkward celebrity cameo in the original glory.As if that wasn’t enough There are some other things coming to Disneyland + in February, including a new film, Flora and Ulysses, based on the book by Keith DiCamillo ( The Tale of Despereaux ). But I’ll just watch Pigs in Space .
