What to Do With Your New Deep Fryer

The deep fryer has definitely had a dramatic, hectic year, but it’s not her fault. All she wanted to do was cook hot and crispy food in record time, but every pedant in the world wanted to talk about how she was “just a little convection oven” that “didn’t really fry anything.”

This may be true, but a small convection oven that heats up very quickly and makes your food turbo crispy is much appreciated, especially if your oven doesn’t have a convection setting. (Plus, my oven has a convection setting, and it takes twice as long to get the same superb crunchy results.) If you eventually own a new deep fryer this holiday season, you should christen it with one of the following symbols.
