How to Use NowInStock Notifications to Find Hard-to-Find Items

If you’ve been trying to find one of the hottest holiday gifts this year, you’ve probably come across scary “sold-out” pages featuring dogs in horns . Fortunately, online shopping has progressed far beyond the days when parents literally fought for “Tickle Me Elmo.”

The NowInStock.net website may be all you need to find a constantly sold item – you just need to know how to use it. NowInStock doesn’t have an app, so you’ll have to use it in your browser. Create an account and be sure to include your email address and phone number (as we need alerts). Find the item you’re looking for, which could be anything on their system, from PS5 to toilet paper. Once you find the item, navigate to the three dots that represent text, desktop, and email notifications (in order from left to right) and turn them all on.

These notifications will ping you quickly enough if the item is hot but not too hot. For those particularly tricky items ( cough, PS5, cough ) you need to join NowInStock’s Discord and set up notifications there, which is even faster than getting text.

You can also use the site to try playing the system: it keeps records of when the item was last restocked at certain retailers, so if you notice a few days, you can figure out that the item was restocked. a specific site at the same time every day. Just park on the page a few minutes before and keep updating until it appears.
