Get Free Food With These Fast Food Apps

If you’re looking for free fast food, there are often better deals on loyalty apps. During the pandemic, the use of digital coupons finally surpassed the number of paper coupons ( according to Inmar Intelligence ), but the rise in mobile reward programs accounts for much of this trend. As brands invest heavily in apps, expect them to be a source of exclusive deals and perks from now on. Here’s a look at what the apps are currently offering, including free food.

Starbucks

With Starbucks Rewards, you earn 2 points – or stars – for every dollar you spend, which can be redeemed for drinks and food. For example, if you spend $ 75, you can exchange for a handmade drink or hot breakfast. You can also double your stars for every dollar spent when you preload money into the app. There are other recurring promotions that reward stars, such as double star days and in-app games.

Complimentary food and drinks: coffee on your birthday.

McDonald’s

McDonald’s has exclusive (and sometimes better) deals on their app , as well as a virtual McCafĂ© card that lets you get your sixth McCafĂ© drink for free. You can always find good in-app deals that usually save a few bucks on an item (like offering big fries for $ 1), but sometimes free items are also offered.

Requested registration details: either your name and email address or your Facebook, Apple or Google account.

Free Meals: Free Cheeseburger, McChicken, or Sausage McMuffin for new users.

Burger King

Like McDonald’s, the Burger King app is focused on deals rather than bonus points, but deals are plentiful: deals usually take a few dollars off an item or food (like a $ 3 double hamburger). There is no mention of atonement using the near-mythical Crown card , which apparently gives you free food for life.

Wendy

You earn 10 points for every dollar you spend on Wendy’s mobile app , which can be redeemed for an in-app reward store. Rewards are okay (for example, you have to spend $ 35 for a junior bacon cheeseburger), but Wendy’s has suggestions too, which are pretty good. As with McDonald’s or Burger King, having an app can save you a couple of dollars on your meal.

Taco Bell

Every dollar spent earns you 10 bonus points in the Taco Bell mobile app , which can be redeemed for selected items as soon as you reach 250 points (like Crunchy Taco or Bean Burrito). When you have earned 2000 points, every dollar spent is worth 11 points and you will have more menu items to choose from when you redeem them for 250 points (Chalupa Supreme or Doritos Locos Tacos). No offers are offered (other than a prize draw), although this is somewhat offset by the lower price of their merchandise.

Free food and drinks: “surprise” can be exchanged for a birthday.

Subway

With Subway MyWay Rewards, you earn tokens with every purchase and collect rewards every 200 tokens. The reward system is unnecessarily complex – it’s unclear in the app how many tokens you get with each purchase, so I had to read the fine print on the website to make sure there were four of them. The app offers exclusive deals, although when I signed up there was only one available (a 2-to-1 deal, which is good value for money).

Chipotle

For every dollar you spend on the Chipotle Rewards program , you earn 10 points, and when you reach 1250 points, you get free entry. A unique feature is that you get more points for trying new menu items, and also get a gift reward for your birthday. The app awards “bonuses” that work like deals, even though there was only one deal for free Chips & Guac when I created my new account.

Free food and drink: a “gift reward” on your birthday.

Dominoes

With Domino’s, you earn 10 Rewards Points for every order of $ 10 or more, and when you reach 60 points, you get a free, medium-sized, two-topped pizza. The app also has a wide selection of coupons for each store and country, usually costing a few dollars. It’s a simple app with nice digital coupons.
