Use Muffin Molds and Egg Boxes for More Picnic Fun

It’s summer outdoor dining. From sidewalks to backyards and parks, we all enjoy the warm weather while soaking up the fresh air. Keeping a picnic (and your fingers) clean and organized can be tricky, however, especially when the comforts of home are far away.

So, we’ve rounded up some of our favorite picnic tricks to make the most of your birthday, romantic lunch, or outdoor date. Start by always placing a plastic tablecloth under your duvet in case the grass gets wet from a previous rain.

Freeze a few water bottles to use as ice packs in a basket (or better yet, a cooler that looks like a basket since the baskets are not well insulated). Place the bottles on top of the food as the cold air flows down and once they melt you can drink them. When you return, the cooler will become even lighter. It’s like a triple hack.

When it comes to packaging food and drinks and keeping it clean and tidy, check out all the tricks in the video above.
