Download Coloring Pages From Over 100 Museums

We first shared this post in early 2019, long after the peak of adult coloring pages . But desperate times call for desperate measures, and a global pandemic with no signs of abating is certainly a good fit. If you’ve been contemplating puzzles , maybe try coloring books? But it seems like an intelligent color. More than a hundred museums and libraries around the world create coloring pages from their collections for the Color Our Collections program run by the New York Academy of Medicine. Along with the previous annual collections, you can now print 509 PDF coloring pages. Here are some of our favorites.

These are just screen shots; you can see the full size PDF from the link below each image. Pages vary in subject matter and level of detail, but museums have made sure the images are kid-friendly. (There are some medieval violence and religious scenes if that’s what you want to watch before sending your kids to the site.)

Some books are only a couple of pages long, others are longer, and some contain sketches of full-color originals. They all give names to the sources of the images, and they all use public domain images that are allowed to be reused.
