These Are the Cheapest IPhones You Can Buy Right Now.

Buying a new iPhone doesn’t have to be bankrupt, and I firmly believe that most people don’t need to spend $ 1000 or more on the latest and greatest model. In the video above, I compare the three cheapest iPhones that Apple currently sells.

iPhone XR: $ 599

The iPhone XR is the least expensive model available with FaceID and a modern slim bezel design. The LCD is bright and crisp, and the lack of a home button means the display takes up nearly the entire front of the phone. At the heart of the device is last year’s A12 Bionic chip, which means it can handle almost anything with ease, and day-to-day use is lightning fast. I bought this phone in early 2019 and it works the same as it did out of the box. This is a great iPhone that I’m going to be using for at least two more years before I think about upgrading.

iPhone 11: $ 699

While the XR was a great buy in 2019, it might be worth considering the iPhone 11 if you’re looking to buy a new phone right now. For $ 100 more, the iPhone 11 is essentially just an XR with a few extra bells and whistles. It features Apple’s latest A13 Bionic chip and an ultra-wide-angle camera lens on the back, and the battery reportedly lasts an hour longer than the XR.

iPhone SE: $ 399

The iPhone 11 price tag is still dangerously close to the $ 1,000 ceiling, so if you’re the type of person who doesn’t care about chipset or bezel size, the new iPhone SE is probably perfect for you. The SE cramps the internals of the iPhone 11, including the powerful A13 bionic chip into its core, into the body of the iPhone 8. That means FaceID is missing, and the old-school iPhone design with Touch ID and giant bezels makes a comeback.

Buy refurbished

Don’t forget that Apple also sells certified refurbished products . If you don’t mind being several generations behind your iPhone, you can buy the iPhone X for $ 599 or the iPhone XS for $ 699.
