How to Get Free T-Mobile Service If You Are an Operative
T-Mobile is currently offering first responders the opportunity to receive free mobile services from the carrier for the next 10 years.
The deal includes unlimited talk, text messages and 4G / 5G data. While the offer is a welcome one, it’s also something that T-Mobile has included in the promises it made to regulators to get approval for its merger with Sprint.
To qualify, you must be included in T-Mobile’s definition of First Responder.
For the purposes of the transaction, this includes the state police, local or private police and sheriff, firefighters and emergency medical services that serve one of the following locations: cities, counties, states, counties or municipalities, and tribal lands. You can see more details on who exactly qualifies on the T-Mobile website .
If you fall into one of these groups, the agency you work for will need to contact T-Mobile and create a business account in the name of that agency and apply to participate in the program – you cannot do this yourself. …
The free plan called “Connect Heroes” is for the most part T-Mobile’s Magenta plan. Members will receive unlimited conversations, text messages and data; however, they will only get 1GB of 4G data before they plan to upgrade to 3G speed. Streaming video will be at 480p.
Customers can choose to upgrade the plan for $ 15 a month, which will give 20GB of hotspot usage, data coverage in 210+ countries, and unlimited Wi-Fi while flying through Gogo.
