How to Watch the Music of John Prine, Bill Withers and Adam Schlesinger at the Indiana Celebration Tonight
Musicians John Prine, Adam Schlesinger and Bill Withers have passed away in recent weeks. Tonight, the Indiana Independent Venue Alliance is hosting a concert that pays homage to Indiana’s musicians and venues while celebrating the music of the three men.
The event starts today at 6:00 pm ET and runs until 8:00 pm ET.
Several artists are expected to perform at the event, including Houndmouth, Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional, Ruston Kelly, Duran Jones and Matt Quinn of Mt. Joy.
The event will be available live on the Indiana Alliance of Independent Venues Alliance’s YouTube and Facebook pages , as well as a number of other Facebook pages hosting event viewing parties.
More than 50% of Indiana concert venues are closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. During the event, he will accept donations to keep these establishments afloat. Spectator donations will match the sponsors of the event.
