You Should Make a 4/20 Pot Waffle Pie
As with most baking, making the perfect pot cake is practically a science. You should decarboxylate the bud , infuse the oil, and (ideally) calculate the dosage. But once they have been baked and divided into squares with responsible division, one last, expert trick remains: a quick tap with a waffle iron.
Waffle cakes – whether they contain THC or not – amplify them in two wonderful ways: they heat them up, melt any chocolate chips and restore them to their former sticky beauty; and he transforms their looks into these delicious little cakes. It also makes the treat seem bigger! Tiny, 1-inch squares break into wider, warmer discs that encourage you to slow down and enjoy the edible rather than stuffing it all in your mouth in one go.
However, brownies are a temperamental delicacy. Just a 10 second press on the iron is all you need to make them warm and sticky; more than that, and they lose all structural integrity. Set the waffle iron to medium-high and place the brownie square in one of the quadrants ( not in the center – these heavier indentations will cut the tender pie into pieces). Close the waffle iron for 10 seconds, open it, then carefully lift the treat out of the grooves with chopsticks or fork tines and slide it onto the spatula. Let cool as much as you can, then eat. The waffle cakes are obviously delicious on their own, but they are the perfect base for a shiny chocolate ice cream sundae, so you should probably take advantage of that. (This is a high holiday, after all.)
