You Can Get Two Months of Stadia Pro Now for Free
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many of us are spending a lot more time at home, and many companies offer options for what to do while you are there.
Google announced this week that it is offering free access to its Stadia cloud gaming service right now . Plus, it gives everyone who signs up 2 months of free access to Stadia Pro, which gives you free access to nine different games.
Here’s a play-by-play on how to do it with Google:
If you’re a beginner, playing Stadia is easy:
• Go to Stadia.com to register.
• Download the Stadia app for Android or iOS.
• Play on your Chrome OS laptop, desktop or tablet with your favorite (HID-compliant) USB controller or mouse and keyboard.
• Play over Wi-Fi on Pixel or many supported Android phones.
Like many other services offering a free trial right now, you’ll need to register for an account and provide billing information to access.
After the two-month trial period expires, you will be charged $ 9.99 per month for Stadia Pro. At a minimum, it’s worth setting yourself a calendar reminder to consider if you want to keep the service two months later before you end up being charged.
However, this is the first time Google has offered a free trial of the service at all, so if you’ve wanted to check it out for a long time, now might be the right time.
