These Grocery Stores Have Special Watches for Seniors
Social distancing is necessary for all of us right now, but it is important for older people. To help this vulnerable population, many grocery stores have started offering special watches for older customers. Here is a list of all the stores we know of at the moment. Whole Foods allows customers over 60 to come an hour before the general public every day.
Target
Target devotes the first hour of every Wednesday to seniors and those with health problems.
Smart and final
Seniors can shop from 7:30 am to 8:00 am every day. An ID is required to login.
Fresh market
Every weekday Fresh Market devotes its first working hour to seniors, as well as other people who are most at risk.
Stop & Shop
Stop & Shop will be open from 6 am to 7:30 am for visitors over 60 years old.
Safeway
Safeway stores are open to seniors every Tuesday and Thursday from 7 am to 9 am.
Albertsons
Albertsons and its grocery chain provide seniors with early access to the store from 7 am to 9 am every Tuesday and Thursday .
