Use Dental Floss As Emergency Laces and Kitchen Twine

Did you know that flossing is more than just a popular dance that all kids dance?

In fact, regular dental floss can be used throughout the home. In the kitchen, use unwaxed, unflavored thread to tie your chicken or roast. It is also great for slicing soft cheeses, watermelon, and cake. (And really, who has the cheese wire now?) You can also use it to scrape off stuck-on baked goods from the pan.

If you suddenly need new laces, flossing will help. We laced up our shoes, strapped them regularly and walked the rest of the day without breaking! Truly incredible stuff.

Oh, and it’s good for your teeth as well. Watch the video above for all these uses (and more!)
