Tie Two Freezer Bags Together to Make One Large
Freezer bags are great for storing all kinds of things. This week I discovered something new about them: you can link two of them together .
Buzzfeed pointed out this idea in a post this week , along with a number of other great ideas, many of which we’ve reviewed over the years.
The principle is very simple: just place the larger item in one bag and then flip the other inside out. In doing so, you give yourself the opportunity to staple two bags together, essentially making one massive bag with a zipper.
Obviously, your bag will be a little less durable than a single zippered bag, and depending on what you put in it, it can be a little problematic to both seal and open.
That said, if you need a little extra space in this freezer bag for a larger piece of meat or for some other item (the original Reddit poster sealed the computer keyboard ), then it might be great to know that stapling the two together in one of the options.
