Just Make a Pumpkin Spice Coffee
When I first tried making pumpkin and spice flavored coffee, I was 23 years old and didn’t know how to eat or drink yet. I made coffee, added cream and sugar, and mixed with a tiny spoonful of pumpkin spice powder. The spice floated to the top, where it acquired an unpleasant grainy consistency and did not have a special taste. To make a pumpkin spice-flavored coffee drink, you need to mix the spices with ground coffee before brewing .
Just take your favorite pumpkin spice mix – I love Trader Joe’s, but you can make your own – and mix it with ground coffee or grind it with whole grains. Cook as usual. You decide exactly how much you want to add, but I’ve found that the ratio of 3/4 teaspoon of the spice mix for every two cups (16 ounces) of brewed coffee adds a subtle hint of autumn flavor that doesn’t exist. t consume the entire cup. Add sugar and milk (or condensed milk) of your choice and enjoy.
