Make Sure You Don’t Buy One of the Three Famous Stew Pasta Sauce Flavors

If you bought ragout sauce this month, you should check the packaging to make sure it hasn’t been recalled.

Mizkan American, the sauce company, recalled three different flavors this week due to concerns that they might contain plastic fragments. If you find plastic in your pasta, it can certainly rip off a spaghetti evening.

Sauces in question were produced between June 4-8, 2019 and include Chucky Tomato Garlic & Onion, Old World Traditional Style, and Old World Meat.

If you have a 45-ounce or 50-ounce can of one of these fragrances, please note the “expiration date” at the top of the lid to see if it was included in the review. Dates vary according to taste, but they are all between June 4th and June 6th of the following year. Here’s a breakdown by flavor:

• Stew with meaty tomatoes, garlic and onions, 45 oz.

If you have one of the damaged cans, you can return it to the place of purchase and get your money back. You can also contact the company for a refund by calling their consumer hotline 800-328-7248 from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM CST, Monday through Friday. The hotline may give you a coupon to replace the sauce can.
