If you’re flying on American Airlines now, you can literally pay for early check-in.
American Airlines recently updated its app to allow customers to voluntarily cancel flights directly in the app, according to The Points Guy . If your flight is oversold, you will see this option when you go to check-in.
The ability to volunteer to participate in the app is already available to United, Delta and American customers starting May 3rd.
