What’s in Store for and Out of Netflix in the Week of April 29, 2019
It’s May now, and your cup is overflowing – if not in all areas of your life, then at least in the most important area: the area in which you lean back in your section eating Pop Corners, alternating between watching TV and playing on your phone ( some call this area “living room”, I prefer “salon” or “salon”). We have Knock Down the House (Wednesday), AOC’s 2018 congressional campaign paper. (Does she win? I do not spoil you that!) Or, if you prefer a light meal, in the film “Mr. Mom” in 1983 starring Michael Keaton, who has not yet reached puberty, plays the father, who can stay at home. I run the washing machine while his wife Teri Garr drinks cocktails, talks on the phone, and does other things that only men do.
Not? Okay, then you’re sure to get into Tuca & Bertie , the new animated series created by Bojack Horseman cartoonist Lisa Hanawalt, in which Tiffany Haddish and Ali Wong voice 30-year-old birds who live in the same apartment building. I know! Sometimes it seems like Netflix actually has your number.
