How to Spend a Night at the Louvre
Have you ever been skeptical about an AirBnb booking due to terrible reviews? (Small kitchen! Poor location! Not enough toilet paper!)
Well, perhaps you could dispel your doubts in this particularly large and trendy apartment.
AirBnb announced this week that it is offering a heck of a new living experience for two curious travelers: a solitary night in the Louvre. Yes, you will sleep a few hundred yards from the Mona Lisa, and it will be your only pleasure to watch, and without any obstacles in the form of phones and selfie sticks.
On this one night at the museum, you will take a private tour with an art historian and experience a hipster paradise, including relaxing on a “luxurious Parisian lounge couch” accompanied by French music. vinyl records next to the Mona Lisa, dinner next to Venus de Milo and your own concert in Napoleon III’s apartment – in other words, the Louvre really needs a good view.
Where exactly will you sleep? Your own transparent makeshift room under the museum’s transparent glass pyramid (which will probably allow anyone nearby to watch you sleep?).
If the idea of sleeping in a glass room with an empty museum at your disposal sounds tempting, you will need to apply on the AirBnb website by April 12 and answer why you would be the perfect Mona Lisa guest (the joke is that she is your AirBnb host, take ?)
