What Should We Bake Next?

Hello everyone and welcome back to Will It Casserole ? , a column in which we see which dishes, dishes and cuisines can be rethought and turned into casseroles. A savory, soothing pea soup casserole was eaten last month, which means we have to move on to a new hot dish.

I feel something very abstract this month. I want to summarize the concept: the more open it is to interpretation, the better. As always, I have a few ideas, but feel free to leave your original thoughts in the comments:

  • Trader Joe’s Casserole: I agree with you, this concept is inspired by my Thursday night dinner, which consisted of four different types of Trader Joe’s frozen Chinese foods cooked and poured into one bowl. I have no regrets and am ready to go beyond China.
  • Taco Bell Casserole: All Taco Bell products are basically a rearrangement of the same five ingredients, so I see no reason why the casserole won’t work. We could build it from real Taco Bell items, self-made fools, or a combination of both.
  • 7-11 Casserole: The challenge is to create a casserole from items that can only be found in 7-11. I am open to further guidance on this.

I understand that all my “concepts” are just shops and restaurants, but that’s fine with me. If you have more obscure, less tangible ideas, I would love to hear them and highly recommend sharing them with the class. (If you have other shops and restaurants, I’m open to that too.)
