How to Download Free Downloaders From Your Netflix Account

There is nothing worse than opening your Netflix account and finding a blacked-out screen that reads: Too many people are using the account.

All of a sudden, your mind is going through the mental files of every person you have ever known who might have received your password. But sometimes, instead of tracking down the culprits, it’s easier to just download them from your account once and for all.

Wired has put together a handy guide to remove digital freeloaders from a range of streaming accounts. We also went further and added other necessary sites and social networks so that you never have to face usage problems again:

Netflix

From the Netflix home screen, navigate to Account in the top right corner. Next to Settings, select Sign Out on All Devices. You will receive a message asking you to confirm if you want to sign out. Once confirmed, this process can take up to eight hours before all devices are completely turned off. Until then, log in and change your password in the Account section. Your account is yours again and the scammers will need a new password to log in. If you also want to view your streaming activity, next to Settings, click on Recent Device Streaming Activity. This will tell you when and where your account was used from (so you can make some educated guesses about other users in your account).

Hulu

On the home page, select your username at the top right, a dropdown will appear. Select “Account”. In the “Privacy & Settings” section, select “Protect Your Account”. You will be prompted to confirm if you want to log out on all devices. From here, log back in, select Account again and scroll down to find the option to change your password.

Spotify

On the main page, select “Profile” and then “Account”. You will be taken to the Account Overview page. Scroll down and select Log Out Anywhere. You will be logged out immediately. Log in again, go back to “Account” and select “Change Password”.

Amazon Prime

From the Prime Video home page, select the Menu drop-down menu in the upper right corner and then Settings. Select “Your Devices” and here you will find any device connected to Prime Video. Go ahead and select “Deregister” on whatever device you’re ready to throw away.

Instagram

On your mobile device, in your profile, click the wheel next to Edit Profile. Select “Password” and enter your current password and new password. Once saved, it should automatically remove any existing device from your account.

Facebook

From the home page, click the drop-down arrow in the upper right corner and select Settings. Select “Security & Sign In” on the left and scroll down to “Where are you signed in” to see all the devices connected to your account. If you want to disable a specific device, select the three dots on the right and click “Won’t you?” to secure your account. If you want to log out of all devices, select “Log out of all sessions” to have all users logged in again. On the Security & Login page, scroll down to Login and next to Change Password select Change.
