Use Gymboree Gift Cards Before It’s Too Late

If you’ve been hoarding these Gymboree gift cards waiting for the perfect moment to splurge on new styles for your kids, now is the time to use them.

Gymboree Group, Inc. has filed for bankruptcy last week for the second time in less than two years and will close all of its Gymboree and Crazy 8 stores, CEO Shaz Kang said in a letter on the company’s website :

We will close our Gymboree, Gymboree Outlet and Crazy 8 businesses and close these stores. At the same time, we are focused on leveraging this process to keep Janie and Jack alive by selling the business in the hope that it will continue to serve customers for years to come.

This is a heartbreaking result for our many dedicated employees and our valued clients, with whom we have built strong relationships over the past four decades. While our stores and websites Gymboree, Gymboree Outlet and Crazy 8 will close soon, we remain focused on ensuring that we continue to provide the exceptional service you expect from us.

The letter does not indicate when stores will start closing or how long returns and gift cards will be accepted. However, USA Today reported that the company requested court approval to continue accepting gift cards for 30 days after filing. If approved, these 30 days could expire as early as February 15th.

Just in case, use them now; all are currently 50% off and shipping is free .
