If you’ve always wanted to pray with the Pope, there is now an app for that.

Pope Francis at the weekend presented the application ” Click to pray .” Exactly what it sounds like, a prayer app allows people (if they are praying) from all over the world to come together to pray on a specific issue.

The Pope has launched the application, which is the official application of the Pope’s Worldwide Prayer Network (Apostleship of Prayer), timed to coincide with the celebration of World Youth Day, which kicks off on January 22nd.

From the site:

Click To Pray is the Pope’s prayer platform, part of his worldwide prayer network. The application invites you to pray together for his intentions aimed at solving the current challenges facing humanity and the mission of the Church. And because “every day is different,” the app invites you to pray 365 days a year to help you learn each day how God is calling you to live. Join us as we pray with the Pope, uniting with the Heart of Christ, thousands of us around the world now form a truly global prayer network.

The app is divided into three sections: Pray with the Pope, Pray every day, and Pray with the network.

The Pope plans to put forward “Prayer Requests for the Mission of the Church” in the “Pray with the Pope” section. The Pray Every Day section offers daily prayer suggestions, and the Pray with the Network section offers a place for people to post their own prayer requests.

The app is available in Spanish, English, Italian, French, Portuguese and German. When you browse these network requests, you will quickly find messages in a new of these languages.

If you don’t want to install the app on your phone, there is also a website where you can do whatever you can through the mobile app without downloading anything.
