Find Out Quickly Where Any Movie Can Be Streamed With This App

Sometimes you really want to watch Office Space, High Fidelity, or Follow That Bird — you just need to figure out where it might be.

In a world with a million different streaming platforms, chances are good that you’ve already signed up for one that will allow you to watch the movie or TV show you want to watch for free, you just have to find it. Last week I was visiting my family at home and a friend showed me an app that makes this process a lot easier: Just Watch .

The app has been around for a while, so you may have heard of it before. In truth, I think I heard about it back that day (before it was the real problem I had) but forgot it existed … which is pretty cool.

In the app, you simply enter what you want to watch, and the app tells you where it might be. It works for TV shows and movies on streaming sites, as well as movies that you might be trying to watch in person at the cinema.

Once you’ve got everything set up, you can search for that movie or TV show and the app will tell you what options you have for streaming it.

For example, my search for Office Space told me that I could stream a movie on Starz that I don’t have, rent it from multiple locations for $ 1.99, or buy it from an even wider list of vendors for $ 14.99.

I am personally a huge fan of price comparison when it comes to buying anything. If I’m just watching to rent a movie for quick viewing, it doesn’t matter to me if I buy it on YouTube or Apple (or anyone else), but Just Watch lets me see right away that it’s $ 2 cheaper. at Apple and Amazon. than Google Play and YouTube.

Yes, there are several other ways to do this now, but the beauty of the app is that you can use it when you’re away from your home setup. It’s only a matter of time before I end up using this to calculate my bar rate.

The app also provides information on what’s new on each platform and lets you keep track of the movies and TV shows you want to watch so you know when they become available.

If you live in a streaming-only homestay, this can be a great way to figure out where you can actually watch what you want to see.
