How to Get Tickets for Aquaman Early Viewing

Amazon announced this week that it will be hosting a series of Aquaman early screenings for Amazon Prime members six days before the movie’s official release date. According to The Verge , as part of the promotion, a partnership between Warner Bros., Amazon and Atom ticket seller, the film will air in 1,000 US theaters at 7:00 pm on December 15.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Aquaman is the next entry in the DC Comics cinematic universe. Jason Momoa, who you may know better as Khal Drogo from Game of Thrones, plays Arthur Curry, a Justice League member and heir to the throne of the underwater civilization of Atlantis.

If watching a superhero movie early sounds like a holiday treat to you, buying tickets isn’t hard at all. Just log into your Amazon account, go to the Aquaman promotion page and click Get Tickets. From there, you will be directed to Atom, which works exactly like Fandango, MovieTickets, or any other digital movie ticket seller. (Except that you can also pre-order snacks, which seems great or nightmarish. I’m honestly not sure which ones.)

Here are some things you should be aware of: Although the Amazon page is being phased out, having Prime simply gives you the right to view; you still pay the full cost of the tickets. In addition, Atom charges an additional service fee, which depends on the theater and the number of tickets purchased. Finally, there is a limit of 10 tickets per person, so be sure to check with a friend if you are going in a really large group.

This is an early screening of a comic book movie that’s like catnip for nerds, so I’d move quickly if you’re interested.
