Hide Chrome Distractions With Blank New Tab Page
Every little thing distracts me when I try to work. Google autocomplete; my mailbox ; even the page that Chrome loads when I open a new tab. Well, the helpful chrome page is used to download. Because for the past few years I’ve been running the Blank New Tab Page Chrome extension. When I open a new tab or window in Chrome, I get a virtually blank page. Nothing distracts me.
There are many extensions that will add anything to your new tab, such as links to popular articles , or motivational quotes , or kittens , or any other web page . But all this makes me forget why I opened the tab at all. It’s as if every time I entered a room, the door tried to tell me about other rooms that I could go to.
