Hide Your Inbox While Working With Email

Every time I go to write an email, my inbox distracts me. I check all my new mail and postpone the actual task for which I opened Gmail. None of this new letter was urgent, but I couldn’t ignore all those bold lines. So now I hide my inbox with Inbox when ready .

I’ve tried other methods like closing the Gmail tab most of the time. This helped me not to idly check my inbox every time a message arrived. But as soon as I needed to complete any task via email, my inbox dropped me.

The Ready Inbox allows me to search, compose, view shortcuts, just about anything other than viewing my inbox. Of course, I can open my mailbox with one extra click. But until I do this, he simply does not exist, and that makes all the difference.

After two days of using the extension, the temptation to click and open my inbox disappeared. Now I only open it … when I’m ready. But if your temptation is stronger, you can adjust your inbox when ready settings to block access to your inbox at certain times of the day. You can specify how many times you want to check your inbox each day, and if you check more, it will add a 15 second delay. You can also set the maximum time you spend each day in your inbox.

You can pay for more considerate support and some additional features, but so far I think the free version is perfectly good. Per its privacy page, Inbox When Ready does not read your email or intercept your contacts, so you do not share all of your data for marketing.

Now you will have so much time to check your texts!
