What’s in Store for and Out of Netflix in the Week of September 24, 2018
Jeffrey Wright and Alexander Skarsgard in a “horrific mystery” set in a remote village in Alaska? Let’s do it! “Keep the Darkness,” directed by Jeremy Saulnier ( Blue Ruins ), will premiere on Friday. I haven’t seen Wrinkles of Time (Tuesday) and probably won’t, because it will ruin my precious book memories (Charles Wallace!), But I heard it was very good for kids.
Oh, and the new season of Chef’s Table kicks off on Friday. Have you seen the episode with Grant Achats from Season 2? You will want to fly to Chicago for the night to eat at its restaurant. Chef’s Table is the show you watch while eating melted tuna in your home sweatpants and wonder what the hell has become with all your potential. In other words, it offers a healthy dose of escapism that, if I know you, you can definitely use right now.
