How to Split Screen on Samsung Galaxy
Good news for experienced Samsung users, you can now play Netflix and play simultaneously thanks to the new Good Lock add-on called MultiStar.
MultiStar is part of the latest Good Lock update and aims to address the frustrating experience of trying to multitask only for the two apps to stop interacting well with each other. With MultiStar, users can open multiple applications in multi-window mode without stopping any of them. That way, you can take notes and watch Netflix, check emails and watch YouTube videos, or best of all, play two games or videos at the same time.
Split-screen continuous playback has been reported to work with floating windows as well , according to this Reddit thread. MultiStar also has a Ghost Mode feature, so users can adjust the transparency level of pop-ups from 20 percent to 100 percent.
Good Lock, originally released in 2016, offered Android users several ways to customize their devices . After a short hiatus in June, Samsung relaunched Good Lock to Android 8.0 Oreo. While anyone using Android 8.0 Oreo on their Samsung device can download Good Lock 2018, MultiStar is reportedly only available for those using Android 8.1 Oreo and up. It is only the Galaxy Note 9 at the moment.
