Replace Your Canceled MoviePass With a New Sinemia Unlimited Plan

If you’ve been mourning the loss of your unlimited data plan with MoviePass, you now have the opportunity to strike a similar deal with its biggest competitor. Sinemia announced on Monday that it will offer a new “unlimited” ticket for $ 29.99 a month.

The plan allows subscribers to receive one 2D movie ticket per day in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK.

I was previously a MoviePass user (in 2013) and I actually signed up for Sinemia earlier this year when it offered a $ 25 a month free gift certificate on Restaurants.com along with the movie .

This service differs slightly from MoviePass in that you can buy movie tickets in advance, which means that you can also choose your seats (which is what I need now).

In its app, you select the movie you want to watch and where, and then the app activates a digital credit card that you can use to buy a ticket on the theater website, just like you bought a ticket with your own credit card. When you enter the movie, you will need to register using the app to confirm that you are indeed using the purchased ticket. As far as I can tell, no one in the theater has a clue that you used Sinemia to buy your ticket.

If you don’t have to go to the cinema every day, Sinemia also offers individual and family ticket options from $ 4.99 a month for one 2D movie and up to $ 89.99 a month for three days of cinema for six people a month.

If you’re still mourning the loss of your unlimited MoviePass subscription, this might be exactly what you need to ease the pain.
