Make Truly Bomb Blue Cheese Dressing With 3 Ingredients

The blue cheese dressing is larger than the salad dressing. Sure, it’s an essential part of the wedge salad, but it’s also the only thing that matters, and it makes the sad vegetable dish bearable. Store-bought items are fine , but you can make a truly blue-mold bomb using just three ingredients.

The first and most important ingredient is blue cheese and you can choose your favorite. Would you like something creamy and slightly spicy? Reach Cambozol. Want a little bit of sharpness? Roquefort has gotcha. You can even make orange blue cheese – in honor of my alma mater – with a bit of Shropshire. The point is, you are in control of your salty, frightened destiny.

The only thing you need is some good quality mayonnaise, some sherry vinegar (the best vinegar) and some kind of mixing device. (I use a hand blender and the supplied cup). Add approximately equal parts blue cheese and mayonnaise (in tablespoons), stir, then add vinegar, half a teaspoon at a time, until diluted to your desired consistency. You can also add some fresh pepper if you like. Now you have a creamy, salty, slightly savory dressing with a cheese emphasis to pour, season, and dip, and it makes your life better.
