How to Get Free Tickets for September Museum Day
On September 22nd, museums across the country will offer free admission as part of the Smithsonian Institution’s annual Museum Day. Although admission is free, you still need a ticket to get inside, and these tickets will be somewhat limited.

Each ticket provides free general admission on Saturday 22 September for two people. To get one, you have to pass your email address to the site, and you can only get one ticket per email, so choose wisely (or delete any unnecessary emails you never use; no judgment here).
More than a thousand museums are participating in the event this year, so there is plenty to choose from.
