Learn How to Cut Vegetables Properly With This Alexa Skill

Do you really know how to cut broccoli? How about kiwi?

While some fruits and vegetables are easy to figure out how to cut them, some are less intuitive. This week I was introduced to the Alexa skill that helps you tackle more complex vegetables.

Called Chop Chop , the whole point of the skill is to show you how to chop whatever you might have questions about. The skill was developed for the Echo Show or Echo Spot (Echo devices with a screen), but it will also work with Dot or regular Alexa voice.

Basically, to make it work, you just open the skill and then ask how to cut something. If it’s in his library, a short video will be played showing how to cut it (or just audio explaining the process if you’re using an audio device only).

New features are added to the app every week, and the developer accepts suggestions for these innovations through this site .

This can be a free and easy way to test yourself before you chop this thing up and then realize you did it wrong and accidentally ruined your dinner.
