This is how it works. Press and hold the app until it starts wiggling. Move the app a little – and this part is important, trust me. I’m not sure how much you need to move, but I would be wrong about the “decent amount”. Maybe temporarily force a wobbling app to swap places with another app on the page. And don’t stop holding your finger; keep this app alone.
Now here’s where it gets crazy. With another finger, tap other apps that you want to move as well . Do not press on them for a long time and do not move them yourself. Just touch them. They should start merging with your first app into one big pile of apps.
When you’re ready, move this stack to wherever you want, such as a new folder or a new page. If you place them on a page that doesn’t have enough room for your selection, your stack will move all subsequent applications to a new page.
