Tell Us About Your Silicon Valley Tips

A place, not a show. This week in Hack Your City, we cover everything from Santa Clara County to San Mateo County – wherever you might think of Silicon Valley (except for San Francisco, which we already talked about ).

Every Monday onHack Your City, we ask readers for the best tips about the city: driving tips, restaurant tips, entertainment, and any other tips for visitors and locals alike. Then, on Thursday, we present the best comments. We work in the USA and around the world.

This is a lovely part of the country if you get out of the suburbia, which sometimes sucks your soul. And thanks to the abundance of fresh ingredients harvested on land and sea, some of the country’s finest restaurants operate here.

We need your advice on visiting San Jose, Palo Alto, Mountain View and the rest of Silicon Valley. What is the best way to enjoy a business trip here? Are there any surprisingly good places to stay, eat, or visit an unusual museum? How can you feel the technical culture during your visit? What can you do in a day in the Valley that can’t be done anywhere else?

We are also interested in how to live in the area (especially if you are not rich in trash). Where do you go to dine, what’s your favorite local custom, what should you watch out for? What kind of people are they and how do you deal with them? And where do you go when the Valley makes you sick? (If you comment, “Here’s the trick: never go there!”, You’d better have three guidelines for driving distance.)

Comment below and we’ll present the best tips in a new post on Thursday.
