Make a Card for Your Phone’s Lock Screen
The problem with using your significant other’s image as your phone’s wallpaper is that it’s embarrassing to ever change it. Luckily, my wife just changed her lock screen from my photo to a photo of a baby we like, so I’m replacing mine with one of the cool cards that Alvar Karto has to offer .
Alvar Carto, one of those stores that sells trendy map posters , has created a simple mobile-friendly site that will display a minimalist map of wherever you go, with the correct resolution for most major phones.
If you need more options, create a free Mapbox account (a more technical service built for developers) and go to their static API site to customize your map in 17 different styles. Don’t forget to check the box next to “retina” for a maximum resolution of 2560×2560 and go crazy:
