Everything You Could Possibly Want to Know About Cryptocurrency Is Now Gathered in One Place.

I have written many articles over the past few months trying to demystify the world of cryptocurrency (from coins themselves to blockchain and what that means for your taxes ), but there is still a lot to cover. You could probably spend the rest of the year reading about cryptocurrency and still have more questions than answers. I don’t recommend anyone to do this, but if you want to, there is a website you should check out.

Andreessen Horowitz, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm that has invested in Twitter, Facebook, Airbnb, Lyft and more, recently posted what it calls ” Crypto Canon .” Basically, this is a list of links and articles that cover everything you could possibly want to know about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies – from basic ones to very specific ones and everything in between.

The cryptographic canon is divided into sections starting with Building Blocks and Foundations. It includes links to articles, blog posts, and YouTube videos explaining basic concepts such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and blockchain. Next is the Basics (and History) section, which includes original white papers outlining the prerequisites for Bitcoin and Ethereum, as well as links to articles and scholarly essays on the overall importance of cryptocurrency.

Keep scrolling through the sections on how cryptocurrency technology can improve government and online security, as well as a list of resources for software developers looking to get into space. If you’re still not satisfied, the canon ends with a list of newsletters to follow and courses to take. The entire page will also be regularly updated with new articles, explanations and videos.

As I said, you could spend a year working through all this information. Your best bet is to just bookmark it now and come back when you need an answer to a specific question (or have plenty of time to kill).
