Happy Hour With 3 Ingredients: Egg Bourbon Mogul and Latte

Happy weekend everyone, and welcome back to Happy 3 Ingredient Hour , a weekly drinks column featuring very simple yet delicious libations. This week we’re making a faux egg nogol latte with lots of bourbon for Christmas morning.

While I’m not usually a hot alcohol fanatic, I’ll make an exception for Christmas morning. There is something indulgent and soothing about sweet coffee and drinks. Bourbon provides ethanol here, and we get richness and festive flavor from it. To make the winter warmer, you will need:

  • 2 ounces of hot coffee or espresso
  • 2 ounces of egg charcoal
  • 1 ounce bourbon

Heat the mogul for 30 seconds in the microwave (to keep the coffee warm) and then mix everything in your favorite mug. Drink pajamas while opening presents.
