What Are Your Fitness Goals for 2018?
January is a great time to start a new life in fitness. Even if you don’t trust vanity and determination, for many of us New Years is the first time in several months that we are not buried under the holidays and stress at the end of the year. It’s time to work on a new goal! What will it be?
- Are you learning something new? Maybe try a new class? Learn a new YouTube skill? Have you finally achieved your handstand this year?
- Looking forward to a personal transformation? It doesn’t have to be weight loss. You may be trying to replace a few pounds of fat with a few pounds of muscle. Or maybe your goal is to get stronger or increase your stamina.
- Do you mean an event? This year, did you finally run a marathon, overcome an obstacle course, swim a mile, or hike the Appalachian Trail?
When January rolls around, will you be avoiding the crowd at the gym, or will you be proud of your member? Looking to do winter sports? (Or warm if you live in California or something? I hate you a little.)
