Chill Your Holiday Drinks With Frozen Cranberries

The cranberries are quite good, but if not pickled they are not the most delicious side dish. Instead of letting them skate alone, I force them to pull their weight, serving a dual function as a drink cooler.

You can place a few toothpicks on the toothpicks before freezing, or simply place the whole bunch in the freezer (wash and dry them first if you like). Let them cool for a few hours, then add them to every cold drink you enjoy this holiday season. They liven up mimosas, uplift the G&T mood, and – since they won’t add flavor to your drink as it melts – they even work with spirits that you want to chill but not thin.
