How to Get Exclusive New IPhone X Ringtone on Old IPhone

One of the many ways Apple makes its smartphones stand out from the group is with special ringtones that go back to the original iPhone and itsiconic Marimba ringtone . The iPhone X is no different. It has an exclusive default ringtone called “Reflection” to let everyone around you know that you’ve given your all for an expensive new gadget as soon as it rings.

If you want to get a status alert without losing $ 1,000 (or you really love the way Reflection sounds), there is a way to get a new ringtone on your current iPhone right now for free. Here’s how to do it (courtesy of Gadget Hacks ).

Before we get started, it’s probably worth listening to Reflection to decide if it’s really worth the effort. This is how it sounds:

Still interested? Great. The first thing you need to do is download the Reflection audio file to your Mac or PC. You can download ringtone from MediaFire right here .

Then connect your iPhone to this computer via USB and launch iTunes. Then open the folder with the downloaded copy of Reflection and drag the file to iTunes. Drag it to the left side of the window under the Tones section, which should appear below your iPhone’s name.

Once that’s done, grab your iPhone and go to Settings. Tap Sound & Tactile and then Ringtone. You should see a new option called Reflection. Select this and you’re done. Now let’s see if you can trick some people into thinking you have an iPhone X.
