How to Eat Right When Work Is Surrounded by Unhealthy Food?

I once worked at a bakery. If the cookie breaks, we can’t sell it, so naturally I would dispose of the evidence in the most sophisticated way. Sometimes I filled the donuts with icing and they smelled so good and there was some icing residue in the end. A little taste doesn’t hurt, does it?

I was lucky: I was in the bakery for a short time, I was young and had a good metabolism. But many of us work in jobs where junk food lays in front of us all damn day. You work with food, or you travel a lot, or you are always at events or meetings serving some kind of treat.

How can you eat healthy food in such an environment? If you managed to achieve any success, even on a small scale, tell us your secrets. Are you counting calories or macros? Do you say “hell” at work and eat healthy food at home? What is right for you?
