What Should We Bake Next?
Hello everyone and welcome back to Will It Casserole , a new column inspired by Retro Week, where we discover which dishes, dishes and cuisines can be reimagined and turned into casseroles.
Given how many great casserole ideas you had in the past week , I didn’t think it would be fair to stop making casseroles after one batch. For those who did not participate last time, this column will be conducted in the same way as Will It Sous Vide? : you suggest what you think I should turn into a casserole, and I casserole is the most popular. If possible, I would not go for the classic, proven casseroles (such as green beans) and are a little strange to use them. Here are a few concepts I think would work for baking:
- Monte Cristo Casserole: This was suggested by D. Hooper and is a brilliant idea.
- Pineapple Pizza Casserole: Because it sounds really good to me and I’m pretty selfish.
- Red lobster casserole : I love the idea of making a casserole based on a mid-range restaurant chain. Olive Garden can be fun too.
- Sushi Casserole : I know this is a meme at this point, but the actual deal looks pretty darn good.
- “I’m very good now” casserole : just a flaky dish made from a heap of stone food. Both pizza rolls and Cheetos will be used.
However, enough of my ideas; I want to hear from you. What dishes, dishes, or abstract concepts would you like to see as a single layer dish in a frying pan?
