Tinycards, a Custom Flashcards App, Now on Android
Duolingo has finally released the Tinycards app on the Google Play Store, allowing you to create your own decks of digital cards.
Tinycards has only been available for iOS since 2016 (Apple named Tinycards as one of the Top 10 Apps of 2016), but was recently made available online this March . The Duolingo flashcard learning method is now available on virtually any device. The app uses the same gameplay mechanics and adaptive learning techniques you’ll find in the Duolingo language learning app, keeping you toned with smart algorithms, level unlocking, and a power bar that you try to maintain through regular learning.
Tinycards has a variety of ready-made flashcards for math, vocabulary, history, language, and constellations. But they also have funnier things like perfect wine pairs, Game of Thrones characters, and even Pokémon. What’s more, you can create your own decks of cards for every taste and share them with other Tinycard users. According to Duolingo, Tinycard users have already created over 200,000 custom decks.
You can download Tinycards for free from the Google Play store here . And you can expect Duolingo to release a localized version of Tinycards in Spanish and Portuguese later this month .
