These Stickers Tell You That Your Baby Has a High Fever, so You Don’t Need to Wake Him Up

Several times my husband and I hovered over my four-year-old daughter as she slept, touching her forehead in confusion. “Is she hot? I think she’s hot. “No, she’s probably just warm from all the blankets.” “No, feel it – it’s really warm. Wake her up and take her temperature? “No, just leave her alone.” “Okay, I’ll just stand here and watch.” (Yes, she is the first and only child. How did you know?)

Ear and forehead thermometers are great, but thermometers aren’t always on hand, especially when traveling. CNN host Lisa Ling posted her decision on Facebook. While on vacation, she used Fever-Bugz sticky fever detectors to monitor her daughter’s temperature.

The stickers allow you to control the baby’s temperature for up to 48 hours, even while bathing. Small numbers on them light up to indicate readings with an accuracy of 1 degree Fahrenheit. Parents get peace of mind, and a cool giant beetle (butterfly or worm) appears on the children’s foreheads.
