Giphy Mobile Web Tool Turns Your Phone’s Videos and Photos Into GIFs
Giphy, the popular GIF maker and sharing platform, today launched a new web-based tool that lets you create GIFs right from your phone’s camera – no app download required.
On your iOS or Android device, go to their Mobile GIF Maker page in your mobile browser, then download videos or photos from your phone’s camera roll. So, you made a GIF! You can also take pictures with the Mobile GIF Maker tool if you like.
Once you’ve taken your GIF, you can sign it with something witty or goofy, add stickers from the Giphy sticker library, and draw on it with your finger (including glitter paint, oh my god). When you’re done creating your masterpiece, you can upload it to Giphy’s huge GIF library. Otherwise, you can just download the GIF and send it to all your friends who definitely aren’t tired of receiving GIFs from you.
