Microsoft’s Wunderlist Replacement Tasks Now Available

Windows / Web / iOS / Android: Microsoft has released a public preview of its new to-do app, called To-Do. This is supposedly Microsoft’s version of Wunderlist , which the company acquired back in 2015.

Work on To-Do is still ongoing, but right now you can create to-do lists, set reminders, and track projects. Besides the look and feel, To-Do also offers a smart Wunderlist suggestion feature that recommends tasks. The app does this with the My Day feature, which gives you a fresh list of things to do every day. While this is still the first preview build, To-Do has plenty to look at, especially if you’re an Office user. It still lacks some features like list sharing and collaboration, but it’s all on the way.

If you are worried about Wunderlist, know that, at least for now, Wunderlist will continue to exist, although To-Do already has an import feature to migrate all of your lists. However, don’t hang on to Wunderlist for too long, as Microsoft points out that once it’s confident in To-Do, it will ditch Wunderlist for good.
