The Fastest Way to Lose Weight After a Heavy Deadlift

Imagine you’ve just completed sets of heavy deadlifts . You’re tired, but now that you’re done, you should be good at going to the gym and lifting the weight plates off the bar. Well, instead of trying to remove each plate individually, Omar Isuf shows you this super easy way to effectively and safely relieve weight.

The solution is very simple: take a 5 or 10 pound plate, place it on the ground on one side of the bar and roll it over. A small plate supports the bar, allowing each plate to be easily removed, instead of lifting the bar off the ground and holding it while removing the plate. Then, when you’re done with one side, the other side becomes a breeze. I mean, you still need to remove the weights, but still …!

This method is great for people who need to remove more than two 45lb plates from each side. I know that after doing some really heavy deadlifts myself, I’m not a fan of taking off all the plates after that, but this is what I should be doing anyway. Since I learned this method, I felt better and wondered where the hell has it been all my life.
